Facebook has avatars now, and this report details how you can get yours

Folks have been hiding out at home for two months now so social media is booming, and Facebook has a new feature you might want to know about.

Avatars.

According to an ADWEEK story, the social media website released the avatars this week. If you already have a picture of yourself loaded to your profile, you might be wondering what good an avatar will be?

Well, according to the report, you can create your avatar and use it as “stickers in Facebook stories, comments and more.”

So, how do you create an avatar?

According to ADWEEK, on your profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen, scroll down and then click on “See More,” the click on “avatars,” then click “next.”

From there, click on “get started,” according to the story, and you can start by picking your skin tone. Once done there, click “next,” and you can customize your avatar.

When through, click on the check in the top right corner, and once you’re done click on “done.”

And, just like that, avatar-you is available to drop in comments when you’re talking to your friends.
